Woodhaven man damages car with pipe: Brown

JAMAICA — A 45-year-old man was arrested two weeks ago for damaging another person’s car and having drugs in his possession, the Queens district attorney’s office said.

Juan Ramirez, of 91st Street in Woodhaven, was arraigned July 12 on criminal mischief and possession of a controlled substance charges, the DA’s office said.

The night before the arraignment, Ramirez allegedly threw a metal object at the rear headlight of another person’s car at Sutphin Boulevard and 95th Avenue, according to the criminal complaint.

When a police officer came to arrest Ramirez, he found a pipe containing cocaine inside the defendant’s bag, the complaint said.
