AUBURNDALE — A 33-year-old Ridgewood man was arrested after he allegedly made a lewd gesture in front of a woman inside the Auburndale Long Island Rail Road station, the Queens district attorney said. Martinez Quintero, of 64-07 Fresh Pond Road in Ridgewood, was arraigned Aug. 23 in Queens Criminal Court on charges of menacing, public lewdness and harassment, Queens DA Richard Brown said. He will return to court Oct. 18. On Aug. 22, the defendant is alleged to have placed both of his hands in the genital region of his pants and made a rapid motion while making a moaning noise, the DA said. He then apologized to a female passenger who allegedly witnessed the incident, the DA said.
